1 ½ cups pitted dates
3/4 cup water
2 apples, peeled and coarsely grated
1 ½ cups Western Family whole wheat flour
1 ½ cups Western Family quick cooking oats
¾ cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
¾ cup Western Family butter
Directions

Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Prepare an 8x8" square pan by spraying with non-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
