A pizza-style sushi dish featuring seasoned rice shaped into a shareable round topped with sushi-grade salmon, wakame, daikon, and pickled ginger.

Salmon Sushi Rice Pizza

Ingredients
1 cup cooked sushi rice
2 tbsp rice vinegar
150-200g sushi-grade salmon, thinly sliced
Wakame (chilled seaweed)
Daikon, julienned
Pickled ginger
Sesame seeds (white or black)
Spicy mayo or kewpie mayo
Soy sauce or ponzu
Sesame oil
1 tbsp sugar
Directions
- Cook the rice based on the packaged instructions. Season with a mixture of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Fold gently into warm sushi rice, let cool slightly.
- Form the pizza base. Press rice into a flat round, about ½ inch thick. Optional: Panfry rice round for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Top the sushi pizza with salmon slices, wakame, daikon, pickled ginger, and sesame seeds.
- Drizzle with your preferred sauce (mayo, soy sauce, ponzu or sesame oil). Slice like a pizza and enjoy.
