Ingredients
1 cup cooked sushi rice
2 tbsp rice vinegar
150-200g sushi-grade salmon, thinly sliced
Wakame (chilled seaweed)
Daikon, julienned
Pickled ginger
Sesame seeds (white or black)
Spicy mayo or kewpie mayo
Soy sauce or ponzu
Sesame oil
1 tbsp sugar
Directions
  1. Cook the rice based on the packaged instructions. Season with a mixture of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Fold gently into warm sushi rice, let cool slightly.
  2. Form the pizza base. Press rice into a flat round, about ½ inch thick. Optional: Panfry rice round for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. Top the sushi pizza with salmon slices, wakame, daikon, pickled ginger, and sesame seeds.
  4. Drizzle with your preferred sauce (mayo, soy sauce, ponzu or sesame oil). Slice like a pizza and enjoy.
