Ingredients
Urban Fare non GMO baguette
¼ cup Extra virgin olive oil
Garlic -- 2-6 cloves depending on your love of garlic
60g roasted tomatoes – from our deli, just ask, they will know
1 avocado
Sea salt

Balsamic reduction – Nona Pia
Directions

Slice your baguette about 1 cm thick

Brush with olive oil ensuring you cover the top

Place in the oven at 350°f for approx. 10 minutes, until just starting to crisp and brown While your crostini's are baking, prepare your topping

Cut your avocado in half, remove the pit and dice up your avocado

Roughly chop your roasted tomatoes

Chiffonade (rough chop) your basil

In a mixing bowl, add avocado, tomato, half of the basil, about a tbsp of olive oil, and a touch of the balsamic reduction, gently fold all ingredients together and set aside in the fridge.

Cut the end off a clove of garlic

Remove the crostini's from the oven and rub each with the open side of garlic.

Top each piece of crostini with your avocado mixture and sprinkle the remaining basil over top, plate on your finest platter and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.

Serve and enjoy.
