Expert Tip: Let the Wagyu steak warm to room temperature for even cooking. The fat in Wagyu starts melting at room temperature so when it gets glossy it is ready to cook. Start with a hot cast iron pan and add salt directly to the pan. Place the steak in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side to your preference. Finish with a little fresh ground pepper and serve.
